For Teens (Grades 6 - 12)
Mondays, December 1, 8, 15, & 22 during regular library hours -- Holiday Package Scavenger Hunt
A wrapped package will be hidden/moved each Monday before Christmas. Teens will be given a form to complete listing the place where the package was hiding as well as his/her contact information. All sheets need to be turned in by by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23; drawing takes place at 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve.
Saturday, December 6 @ 10:00 a.m. -- Ornament Exchange
Bring a wrapped ornament and play a fun game. Also, make 2 more ornaments to take home!
Saturday, December 13 @ 10:00 a.m. -- Mrs. Claus's Kitchen
Make and decorate a variety of appetizing goodies!
Saturday, December 20 @ 10:00 a.m. -- Movie Day
Watch Rise of the Guardians and enjoy popcorn and other snacks!

Come to the Jerseyville PL Meeting Room and buy a ticket to win a quilt or just shop for something you might like. All proceeds go towards the restoration of our 110 year old Grandfather Clock!
Monday, December 8 @ 6:30 p.m. -- Annual Cookie Exchange
Bring 3-dozen of your best cookies or candy along with a copy of the recipe. You'll sample each and vote for your favorite. "Cookie Games" will be played with prizes awarded to the winners as well as for best cookie!
Tuesday, December 9 @ 1:00 p.m. -- White Christmas
Join us to watch this classic Christmas movie, starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney; refreshments provided.
Tuesday, December 16 @ 1:00 p.m. -- Max Lucado's The Christmas Candle

Food for Fines
From December 1—December 31, the Jerseyville Library will accept canned goods or other non-perishable food items for each overdue item that you return, with all goods collected going to the local Salvation Army Food Pantry. All materials must be returned at the circulation desk. The fine on the item(s) must occur during the month of December. Any lost or damaged item is not Food for Fines eligible.
