"Paws to Read" During 2014!

paws to read

This year, our Summer Reading Club theme is Paws to Read, but here at the Jerseyville Library, we decided to make it a year-long program.  Beginning this month, January, any child in Pre-K through Grade 6 can stop by and pick up his/her reading goals paper for January as well as a chain for his "dog tags."  The paper will let you know how many minutes/day as well as days/week you will have to read (or be read to) in order to meet your goals!  For each month that your goal is reached, you'll get a "dog tag" to add to your chain.

If you have any questions, please stop by the Library or contact us by email (, phone (618.498.9514), or post your question on Facebook.
