Mission Statement: Jersey County Against Drugs is committed to making a positive difference in youth 11-18 years old and their families in Jersey County by identifying and implementing evidence-based substance abuse prevention services with a focus on alcohol, tobacco and marijuana use in cooperation with the local schools, law enforcement, government and the community as a whole. Background: Jersey County Against Drugs Coalition was organized in September 2012. The purpose of JCAD is to prevent alcohol, marijuana, tobacco and other drug use in youth ages 11-18. The Coalition is made up of representatives from different sectors of the community including health providers, education, business, religious, law enforcement, mental health and many others.
